This is the humble beginnings of my newest hobby, craft-brewing beer.
I got my start by reading, "How to Brew" by Jim Palmer. This is a great online resource that provides a wonderful introduction to craft-brewing.
After a trip to my local supply store to scout things out, I purchased a basic beginners brewing kit.
A Basic Kit includes
- A 5 Gallon primary fermentation bucket
- A 5 Gallon glass carboy secondary fermenter
- A 5 Gallon bottling bucket
- An Auto-Siphon
- A Capper (for capping bottles)
- A 3-piece airlock
- Several Brushes and cleaning supplies
